life’s funny. unexpected. emotional (if you let it be).
ive started my OB section of nursing school… and i find myself tearing up daily. this is coming from a person who hasnt cried in over 9 months, so it’s kind of a big deal. i thought id lost that ability, to feel deeply for anyone, let alone a baby i didnt know. it’s hard to let go, to let my feelers feel, i think it’s part of the aftermath of extreme pain. just one more stitch in this thing called a heart. i think i’ve found my niche in life, or at least in nursing.

you know, i cry far more than i should (good and bad tears). i've come to love the feeling of feeling. feeling really really deeply.
i'm so glad you found your little place in nursing. congratulations woman!
I had gone a very long time without crying and then one day at work a baby came in... I LOST IT... and its been pretty much an emotional ride ever since. OB NEEDS good nurses that remember that this is one of the most important moment in the mom's and child's life. Your post take my breath away.
you'll LOVE ob clinicals! i miss it. my love is in the NICU, so we can be bosom nursing buddies. and i've shed many a tear over babies. mine or not mine or the though of not being mine. good luck with school miss cami. you'll be a delightful nurse i'm sure.
you are amazing. i feel like a broken record, but its so true. you are so strong and i look up to you cami! i think when you have a break from school (does that even happen?) we need to do a craft night?
you will be an amazing nurse someday! they will be lucky to have you!!
So happy for you :)
YES YES YES YES YES that is going to be so amazingly perfect for you!!
SO awesome- I really think you'd be amazing in it!! Makes me a little tempted to change specialties sometimes!
i cried multiple times during my labor and delivery rotation - there is nothing quite like seeing a baby come into the world.
