Brian and I had the privilege of going to a dear friend of ours baptism yesterday. I hadnt been to a baptism since I was little, around the age of 8….so I was holding back tears most of the afternoon. We’ve spent years with this sweet family every other Sunday, and have grown to love them. Yesterday Chazz, the father, was baptized and it was so beautiful to see his family kneeling around him as it happened. After he came out of the water Aunt Caries arms went up and said YES! The chapel was filled, and you could feel the love that so many people have for this family, and the excitement to watch them grow together in the Gospel. These simple Covenants we make are so precious and sometimes I forget their importance and take them for granted. Im so grateful for my Savior and what He’s done for me, and for the little nudges I get to remember the importance of these things.
